Registration and contacts with the authorities
After you have moved to Finland, you need a Finnish personal identity number, in addition to the residency permit, so you can, for example, open a bank account or get a tax card. In addition you must ascertain if you and your family are entitled to social security benefits from Kela (The Social Insurance Institution of Finland) as well as to a Kela card. We will help families find a suitable school or daycare centre for their needs and the children's needs. In addition, we can get temporary childcare help for the family.

We will guide you in the use of public health care services and if needed find private services for you.
Public transport and taking care of everyday business
We will guide you and your family in using the public transport and, for example, in buying tickets. We will show you the best shopping places and other services. We will help you get a telephone connection and a library card. We will also tell about the way Finns do things.
